Early Treatment

Early evaluation provides both timely detection of problems and greater opportunity for more effective treatment. Prudent intervention guides growth and development, preventing serious problems later. When orthodontic intervention is not necessary, an orthodontist can carefully monitor growth and development and begin treatment when it is ideal.

Adolescent Treatment

Adolescence is the ideal time to treat the majority of cases, as we are able to take advantage of patients’ growth in order to correct underlying skeletal discrepancies between the upper and lower jaws. This allows us to not only help provide the most esthetic smile possible, but also to ensure the most functional bite. Also, while most teens choose to get traditional metal braces, teens will often have the choice of using a more esthetic option such as invisible clear braces or Invisalign.

Adult Treatment

Orthodontic treatment is becoming extremely popular among adults. Tooth alignment can be changed at any age if your gums and bone structure are healthy. We offer a variety of treatments that are designed for different age groups – including adults. At Konigsberg Abikhzer Orthodontics, we provide many types of esthetic treatment options such as Invisalign and Ceramic Brackets in order to make sure our adult patients are comfortable with the appearance of their appliances during treatment.

Dr. Konigsberg and Dr. Abikhzer are proud to offer a variety of options when it comes to orthodontic treatments. We offer metal braces and ceramic/clear braces. Each of these options have their own benefits and advantages, and our team would be happy to assess what is right for you.

Using a system of invisible, custom-made, computer generated aligners, Invisalign® straightens teeth gradually without the use of visible brackets. One major advantage of Invisalign is that these aligners are all removable so there is no limitation on what you can eat or drink, and brushing and flossing is much easier than it is with braces. Invisalign works in correcting most cases of malocclusion. Ask if you are a good candidate for Invisalign!
