Metal Braces
Traditional metal braces use stainless steel brackets and wires to adjust your teeth into the desired position. With today’s technology, brackets are smaller making them less noticeable and more comfortable than braces have been in the past.

Ceramic/Clear Braces
Similar to traditional metal braces, these braces use a ceramic bracket that is almost invisible making your orthodontic treatment just as effective and less noticeable. While they are visually less prominent, clear braces do require more attention to oral hygiene as the ceramic brackets are larger and more brittle than their metal counterparts. For these reasons, ceramic braces tend to be used more on upper front teeth than on lower teeth.
